Firm’s Responsibilities: Structural Design
Scope of work includes Structural Design of Stilt+5 Residential Apartment of 37000SFT of Built-up-Area.
Project is located in moderate earthquake zone and coastal area. The Structure is designed for Seismic Zone-3 to IS:1893 and Wind Speeds of 50m/sec.
Strip/Raft Foundations are adapted to support and safely transfer the superstructure loads to sub-strata.
Structure is stabilized by RCC frames. Stilt-floor is supplemented by RCC Shear walls in addition to RC frames to cater for the soft-storey effects resulting from seismic loads.
