Scope of work include Value Engineering followed by Detailed Engineering on the usage of Aerocon Blocks instead of normal blocks for an Office Building of Basement+G+2 Building.
Structural Designs are carried out for the Building for both cases using normal blocks and Aerocon Blocks(Ultralite)
For the given building, it is concluded that reinforcement savings can be achieved for different elements as follows:
Slabs: No Savings
Beams: 15%
Columns: 30%
Foundations: 10%
